Concept
The Museum of Russian Impressionism presents ‘The Art of Transporting Art’, a special project prepared in partnership with the art logistics company Fineartway. This conceptual continuation of the exhibition ‘Avant-Garde: On a Cart to the 21st Century’ reveals the processes that remain out of sight for visitors — from the packaging and transportation of paintings to the installation and dismantling of expositions. On the third floor of the museum there are interactive objects and works by the contemporary artists Misha Most, Valery Chtak, Jacob Yakubov and Grigory Tsvetkov.
For this exhibition, I have created two video art projects specifically designed to explore the themes of art transportation and packaging.
Video Art "Installation", 2 minutes 55 seconds
The video art "Installation", created using the found sound technique, the artist explores the unique tempo-rhythm of the art installation process hidden from viewers.
This represents both a deconstruction and a harmonization of the interaction process with the art object. Initially, this process is broken down into individual audiovisual elements.
The next stage is the harmonization and ordering of the obtained signs, constructing an audiovisual landscape from the created elements.
3D animation "Unpacking", 1 minute 8 seconds
A video art featuring an endless array of unpacking boxes by Fineartway.
The more you try to penetrate the essence of things, the more you realize that this process can be infinite. This work reflects the idea of searching for hidden meanings and the impossibility of finding them.
