Video Art
Am I a part of nature?
The video art explores the interaction between technological and natural elements.
It uses LIDAR scans, depth map imagery
Audio combines field recordings of nature with sound of electromagnetic fields.
Concept
At some point, technology might reach a level where it questions if it is part of the natural world, just as we do now. By scanning our environment, we try to capture its edges, explore the connections between its parts, and feel its wholeness.
Why do we sometimes feel like strangers or even enemies to what we are a part of?
This inner conflict is shown in the project through a mix of natural sounds and the invisible electromagnetic waves from our electronic devices.
Does this soundscape suggest how our world will sound in the future, or does it already sound like this?
